September 21, 2007 - January 23, 2008 RAFFI KAISER is part of a group show at the Wolfsburg Kunstmuseum, Germany: JAPAN UND DER WESTERN It also features works by Carl André, Joseph Beuys, Alberto Giacometti, Donald Judd, Paul Klee, Yves Klein, Barnett Newmann, Ad Reinhardt, Robert Ryman, Cy Twombly. Works by these artists of Western modernism are confronted with traditional Japanese artworks and craft objects, including Zen painting, ceramics, Samurai swords, calligraphy, textiles, lacquerware and ustensils used in tea ceremony.
